Southwest Florida offers the right climate for new and relocating people.
Population growth
With a population of more than a million people, Charlotte, Lee and Collier counties boast a strong workforce and customer base.
A growing economy
Southwest Florida boasts a consistently low unemployment rate, high job growth and strong construction, tourism and healthcare industries.
Incentives
All three counties offer business incentives, from tax breaks and grants to fast-track permitting and free-payment assistance. Plus, Florida has no state income tax.
Education opportunities
Among the higher education institutions in the region are Florida Gulf Coast University, Ave Maria University, Edison College and a number of other colleges and universities.
Transportation system
Southwest Florida International Airport opened a new terminal in 2005. Private traffic moves through Naples Municipal Airport and Page Field General Aviation Airport. I-75 is slated for expansion, and other roads throughout the region continue to be widened and improved.
Latin America and Caribbean trade access
Southwest Florida is the gateway to Latin America, the Caribbean and other markets - without the traffic and higher property prices of Florida's east coast.
Quality of life
Warm weather, beaches, a lively arts scene, great shopping areas, good schools and a slower lure people and businesses to the area.
